PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the lowering of image quality by arranging a fur brush opposed to a projection part (rib) provided on the back surface of a belt and providing a cleaning blade to be brought into press-contact with a driven roller. SOLUTION: The fur brush 41 oppositely coming in contact with the rib 34 is attached to a stay 42 on the inside of a photoreceptor belt 22 and fixed on a side plate 39. In such a case, the stay 42 is arranged near the driven roller 31. Furthermore, the cleaning blade 43 consisting of such material as Mylar(R) is fixed on the stay 42. The blade 43 is attached in a counter direction to the rotating direction of the roller 31. The blade 43 is arranged nearly over the entire length of the roller 31. The worn particles of the rib 34 are scraped by the fur brush 41. However, when the belt 22 gets one-sided and a tension roller 32 is rotated and the tensile force of the belt 22 is softened, the rib 34 is separated from the fur brush 41, whereby the worn particles on the brush 41 are moved. |
