PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily correct the curvature of the scanning line of a laser on the surface of a photoreceptor drum in a high-speed digital copying machine using a multibeam. SOLUTION: An image forming device is constituted so that the laser beams are outputted from two laser lens barrels 1 and 2 and respectively passed through different optical paths and images by the laser beams are formed on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 13. Besides, it is provided with a means observing the image by the first laser beam and the image by the second laser beam on the surface of the drum 13. Then, the relative curvature between the image by the first laser beam and the image by the second laser beam is detected and corrected by changing the relative positions of a parallel flat plate glasses 9, a cylindrical lens 3 and a toric lens 7 arranged in the optical path of the first laser beam. |
