PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor speed controller having high speed response characteristics. SOLUTION: This motor speed controller comprises an angular speed control means 1 for motor having a proportional operation means, an equivalent rigid model 21 for modeling in a primary lag system having a time constant of viscous friction, a first compensation means 231 performing a proportional operation, a second compensation means 232 performing an integration operation, and means for delivering the sum of a motor torque signal from the speed control means and the outputs from the first and second compensation means to the equivalent rigid model 21, the difference signal between a speed signal from the speed control means and the outputs from the equivalent riqid model to the first and second compensation means and defining the proportional gain of first compensation means by the product of first and second gains &Zgr;s and Ωs while the integration gain of the second compensation means by the square of the second gain and determining the second gain ωs by multiplying the proportional gain Kv of the proportional operation means in the speed control means by a preset band set coefficient α. Output from the equivalent rigid model is led back, as a detection speed, to the speed control means 1. |
