PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flashlight capable of grinding an electroplated layer of an inner peripheral wall of a tail cap or an inner peripheral wall of a cylinder body easily during assembly without any additional process. SOLUTION: A contact seat 7 or a fixed pawl 7' is added to a tail cap 6, and when a friction sliding contact part formed on the contact seat 7 is screwed into a cylinder hole of a cylinder body 4 as an adjunct to the tail cap 6, an electroplated layer of an inner peripheral wall of the cylinder hole is scraped to be destroyed. Alternatively, when the fixed pawl 7' is inserted in an inner hole 61 of the tail cap 6, scraping nib provided on the fixed pawl 7' scrapes and polishes the electroplated layer of the inner peripheral wall of the inner hole 61. Then, the electric power of a battery 5 is transmitted through a spring 8, the contact seat 7, and the cylinder hole 41 of the cylinder body 4 to the cylinder body 4, or through the spring 8', the fixed pawl 7', and the tail cap 6, transmitted to the cylinder body 4 thereby achieving the state of electric conduction. |
