NEW FLUID ROTARY VALVE OF LOW SENSITIVITY WITH RESPECT TO FLOW POWER

A rotary valve having a valve element rotating around the center of rotation thereof, and a stator provided adjacently to the valve element, and formed so that the torque occurring due to flow power working on the valve element can be reduced, wherein a fluid passing opening is provided in both of the valve element and stator, or in the stator alone, the valve element being rotated with the opened area of the opening varied to control a flow rate of the fluid, the shape of a curve of an edge of the opening being designed so as to reduce the torque occurring due to the flow power which is exerted by the fluid passing through the opening on the valve element.
