FIELD: servicing nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: decontamination unit for servicing components of pressurized-tube reactors RBMK-1000 and RBMK-1500 has electrolyte-filled bath, cathode and yoke connected as anode, both placed under electrolyte surface. Cathode is built up of two tubes placed on either side of yoke (inner and outer ones). Yoke centering devices are provided on tubes. Yoke heat sink is located on inner surface of external tube and made in the form of ring isolated from external tube and provided with inner cone facing yoke with its top; unit also has device for feeding rinsing water under pressure which is, essentially, annular header arranged above electrolyte surface coaxially relative to yoke with radial injectors attached to it and pointed to yoke.
