FIELD: production of bands for safety belts, in particular, safety belts for car. SUBSTANCE: method consists in laying of two weft threads at least in one shed. In this case, both weft threads are laid over the entire width of cloth, and simultaneously one weft is introduced from one side, while the other, from the other side. Additionally at least the third weft thread is tied up to warp threads on at least predetermined part of cloth width. Produced band has uniform edges that increases its strength.
