<p>The present invention concerns a method for continuously changing speed ratios with a pressure coupling type of hydraulic device. The invention is based on the principle and the structure of a hydraulic or pneumatic pump, in which the rotor and the stator of the pump are used as the driving and driven elements of the device respectively. With ratios range from 0 to 1, stepless variable drive is realised by controlling the fluid flow discharged owing to the differential speed between the rotor and the stator. It can be also realised with a variable displacement type of hydraulic motor which is used to control the fluid flow and to feed back its output torque to the pump. The present device runs more efficiently than that in the art.</p> |
