DEVICE FOR DETECTING AND STORING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM SIGNALS

The electrodes (9-13) required to measure and record data from electrocardiogram signals are fixed in their geometric position by a plaster (2) which adheres to the skin in the chest area. A miniaturized electronics module (5), a battery (17) and an induction coil (25) are integrated into the plaster. The data thus recorded and other data related to the patient, time etc. is archived in a compressed form in a semiconductor memory (50). Currently detected data and stored data are read in a contactless manner via the induction coil (25) and an externally supplied reading head (40), and evaluated. The entire stock of data can be read in the space of a few seconds by means of a direct electric connection when the plaster is removed. Representation and evaluation of said data is carried out by an external data processing system (26).
