<p>The throttle may be adjusted from outside. It consists of a flexible section (2) of webbing or foil, corresponding to the vertical cross-section of the channel. One edge of the section is fastened to the channel floor (3), while the other edge is fastened to a cross piece, which may be displaced parallel to the channel floor. The cross piece is continuously height-adjustable via a threaded spindle. The spindle is positioned normal to the cross piece, and guide through a threaded nut. The cross piece has two guide rails, fastened to the channel sides. Two thrust pads (10) on the cross piece extend parallel to the direction of flow, and project over the throttle section.</p> |
