<p>The invention relates to a mortar transport device for applying a concrete layer to a section wall, a formwork or the like. The inventive device comprises a drum (3) that rotates around a horizontal axis. On one side, the drum (3) is connected to a container (2) for receiving the work mortar, and on the other side, it is provided with a screen (9) which is fixed relative to the drum and has a through opening (10) adjacent to the bottom section of said drum (3). A bucket wheel, situated downstream from the screen in the flow direction of the mortar, has a rotation axis (14) which is parallel to the rotation axis (1) of the drum (3). On each side of and underneath the through opening (10), a bowed spill ridge (15) having a form corresponding to the enveloping circle of the bucket wheel (13) and spanning over an arc angle from about 120° to about 170°, extends into an outlet port (16) leading to a flexible conveyor tube. The maximum width of the opening (10) corresponds to the chord length of the bowed spill ridge (15). The drum (3) and the bucket wheel (13) are encased in a substantially airtight housing (4) into which a compressed air conduit (19) runs.</p> |
