<p>Optical phased array device is a high speed scanning means. The present invention discloses the principle of irregular phased array, issues a concept of virtual fictitious point light source phased array, and presents a variety of specific methods for implementing it. A plurality of optical phase modulators are arranged in a phased array space. Light beams outgoing from the modulators have special relations to each other in their phases, so that the light beam output by the phased array is steered only towards a desired direction. When the direction of the output light beam is changed at random, the changing rate can reach 10-12 second as high. The present invention extremely simplifies the construction of the optical phased array device, and provides the possibility of leading the device from laboratory research into practical application.</p> |
