Versatile roaster made of glass or stainless steel or with non-stick coating

A new roasting and cooking pan comprises upper (3) and lower (2) sections. It is preferably polytetrafluoroethylene-coated or comprises stainless steel. The parts are shaped such that during use for e.g. boiling, roasting, steaming, baking or cooking, the condensate is intercepted by the lower section. In the new design the rim (4) of the upper section is turned out through about 90 deg , and rests entirely within the enclosing form of the lower section (2) rim (1). Handles (5) are arranged in or on the walls of both sections of the vessel. As may be required during use, a sieve (6) is placed within the raised edge of the lower section. Preferably, the sections are made of heat resistant glass, with e.g. stainless rims and sieve.
