FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: beehive has standard parts and fittings. Main constructional parts of beehive casing and internal fittings are manufactured from cork tree wood or from composition based on cork tree wood and are made in the from of separate plates and sheets, which are attached to basic carrier material by means of tenons and dovetail connecting members made in the form of pins and slots. When required, sheets are provided with rigidity ribs which may be positioned at one or both sides. Wood material used for manufacture of sheets and plates may be cork oak or Amour cork tree or bark layer of platyphyllous tree allowing antiseptic, antistatic and sanitary characteristics to be improved by preventing condensate accumulation and imparting hydrophobic characteristics. EFFECT: increased strength, improved keeping conditions favorable for development and working of bee family by using specific kinds of tree wood material. 3 cl, 10 dwg
