The present invention relates to a system for producing a signal perceptible by a person and according to her needs, wherein said signal is generated at least at a given moment when a drug must be taken or when a time-dependent medical measure must be carried out. This system comprises a control device (1) with a time measuring unit, wherein said device is or can be placed at a first location inside a building and is or can be used at the signal emission moment(s). This system also comprises at least one external signalling device (4, 5, 14, 17, 18) which is brought or can be placed in a second location inside or in the vicinity of the building and which communicates with the control device (1) through a communication line (3, 13, 16, 19). If need be, a time-dependent signal can be generated at or using said signalling device in response to an order from the control device (1).
