Interior of refrigerator door fitted with variable position shelving

The interior of a refrigerator door (1) is fitted with a number of receptacles spaced on opposite interior faces of the vertical sides of the door to form clip-in locations for a similar number of extruded horizontal bars (4). A range of positions for the bars is thereby available to suit the dimensions of storage containers, bottles etc. located on the shelves (6,7 etc.) of glass or other suitable material. A variety of detachable wire support frames is illustrated for different shelf configurations and fig.1 shows the shelves (6,7) gripped by the frames (8,9) which are themselves supported by the extensions (10,11) inserted behind the bars (4) and bearing against the door inner surface (5).
