FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying high frequency electric power of surgical device in mixed mode with power level of 60-100 Wt, carrying frequency of 500 Hz and modulation frequency of 50 Hz to influence with active electrodes upon layers of faucial and lingual tonsils injured by pathologic processes. Pulses are used during 0.5-1.0 s. Active electrode is manufactured from round rod having its body insulated with dielectric and working part bent upward building second order curve to 20 mm in height and ending in sphere of 3-3.5 mm diameter.
