The system has at least one main beam headlamp (20) designed to satisfy at least two different light regulations. A first regulation allows a first maximum illumination intensity in the center, and only specifies at least required illumination intensity in the side regions for the main beam. A second legal regulation for the main beam, allowed second maximum illumination intensities in the center, which are smaller than the intensities according to the first regulation, and a second legal regulation for a main beam, allowing second maximum illumination intensities, which are smaller than allowed by the first regulation. Also at least necessary illumination intensities in side regions, arranged further from the center than the side regions according to the first regulation.
