METHOD FOR PROTECTION OF INTERCHAMBER PILLARS FROM DESTRUCTION

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in underground development of thick horizontal and slightly inclined mineral and non-metallic deposits, including protection and supporting of interchamber pillars. According to method, created over external perimeter of pillar is holding support. For this purpose, bore-holes are drilled in chamber floor over external perimeter of pillar. Then, vertical piles are installed in drilled bore-holes. Piles are rigidly secured to each other by guys which are inserted through horizontal bore-holes drilled in pillar. Installed between piles along pillar contour is vertical shuttering and free space between pillar and shuttering is filled with hardening material. Utilization of aforesaid method allows to substantially enhance safety of pillars due to high stability of built reinforced concrete structure. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
