The combination instrument has a light conducting system carrier (10) having apertures and through holes and at least one printed numeral plate on the side facing the observer and a pointer rotating in front of it. Light from an illuminating device is coupled into the pointer. Electrical components (22) mounted on the side of the system carrier remote from the observer are electrically connected by conducting tracks (23) on the remote side of the carrier.
