<p>A plurality of cut scenes (scenes a-d) are displayed in time series in parallel on an external display of a nonlinear video editing system for each track. The user sticks a video scene and a sound scene for which frame matching needs to be ensured over a plurality of tracks (V, Al, A2) with a 'skewer'. The skewer ensures prevention of shift between the video scene and sound scene which must not be shifted from each other. When a user operation causes a temporal shift between stuck scenes of a track, a control means shifts the stuck scenes together in the direction of the time axis and inserts a blank scene having no entity data into a blank interval of an arbitrary track produced by the shift. The number of blank scenes of each track is counted every time an edition is executed and displayed on a display. The blank scene can be searched.</p> |
