The invention relates to a formulation containing an opioid combined with an alpha -adrenergic agonist or pharmaceutically applicable salt of the active substances and additional auxiliary agents, wherein the dosing unit is used in a quantity between 1 mu g and 500 mu g for the alpha -adrenergic agonist, and the dosing unit is used in a quantity between 0.5 and 50 mg for the opioid such that no centrally conditioned cardiovascular effect occurs. The invention also relates to the application of the formulation as analgesics.
