Dental-model formation method for implantation work

摘要

Mounting posts securing distance sleeves and protruding from the jaw are encased in compressible material before the first casting of the model. After the plaster has hardened, the material is removed from the model underside. The posts are then fixed in position by filling the chambers in the plaster model with suitable material. Hardened plaster can be removed to form an opening via which the compressible material can be extracted at the underside.
