Data stream transmission method for wireless communications network

The method involves transmitting data streams from a central communication arrangement (RBS, ZKN) over a transmission medium (FK) with a first transmission frequency to at least one peripheral communication arrangement (RNTl...n, DKEl,...n) according to a multiple transmission method. The peripheral communication arrangement includes a reception unit (SEE) for the reception of the data streams (seul...n). The data stream is transmitted on a second frequency by a transmitting unit (SEE), associated with the peripheral communication arrangement, over the transmission medium to the central communication arrangement, using a time-multiplex transmission method. The peripheral communication arrangement interrupts the received data streams using a switching device (SW) at an access on the transmission medium, and sends the data stream to be transmitted on the transmission medium. After the access on the transmission medium, the received data streams are led again to the reception unit, using the switching device.
