<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the current consumption necessary for carrying by changing the power supplied to a driving means by a control means according to the torque of a carrying means necessary for sheet carrying. SOLUTION: As a normally rotating motor and a reversely rotating motor, a motor changed in rotating torque according to the magnitude of the current or power to be supplied, for example, a stepping motor is used. The torque necessary for sheet carrying of each carrying roller pair 25A, 25B and discharge roller 26A and 26B is differed depending on the carrying route or direction for carrying sheets, and also various parameters such as the size and width of the sheet. Further, the torque necessary for carrying is fluctuated also depending on the thickness of the sheet to be carried. The stepping motor is controlled so that each roller generates the necessary rotation toque according to the parameter having an influence on the torque for carrying such as the carrying route or the size or thickness of the sheet.</p> |
