<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance relay device that is capable of positioning one end of its relay rails to the end of a fixed rail without lowering the moving speed of a conveying device. SOLUTION: This conveyance relay device stops the vertically movable part 31 of its lifter 30 adapted to move up or down to a delivery point, at a delivery point where one end of relay rails 34 is in close proximity to the end of a fixed rail 3 or 13, and then displaces the relay rails 34 liftably laid on the vertically movable part 31 to position the relay rail end to the fixed rail end. The relay rail end is thus positioned to the fixed rail end through the movement of a light part, or only the relay rails or the relay rails holding a conveying load, which produces least inertia force for high positioning accuracy.</p> |
