PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make registering correctly so that printing can be made correctly with living images expressed by a method wherein images in precise tone are presented on a container for hairdye kit with a colored picture of the hair. SOLUTION: Colored pictures of models are used habitually for packaging material for hairdye. It is difficult to reproduce the color in a close resemblance to natural color of the skin by printing. The original transparency is within the density limits of 2.7. The density limits of 2.00 can be obtained by 4-color reproduction with fine inks on a high-quality gloss paper. On executing label printing on a supported web, the web material is put under the tension. When moisture content changes, fiber puff is produced and the paper surface is changed, resulting in deterioration of the images. This problem can be solved by using high-quality gloss paper or plastic film for label printing and by controlling the web tension. The image of the hair is complicated and in a dark color tone and is composed not only of internal differences of tone and brightness of the color but also of dark parts and shadows. Difference is external appearance of images on different products should be the same irrespective of positions and operations for selecting the label on the web. |
