摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmittance of visible rays, performance to reduce solar radiation, transparency and decorating property by forming a first oxide layer essentially comprising zinc oxide or tin oxide, a silver layer, a protective metal layer, and a second oxide layer essentially comprising zinc oxide or tin oxide on a transparent glass substrate. SOLUTION: The following layers are formed on a transparent glass substrate. These layers are, a first oxide layer containing zinc oxide or tin oxide and 0.5 to 10 atm.% metals such as Sn, Si, Al, Ga and Ba and having 15 to 45 nm film thickness, a silver layer having 16 to 20 nm thickness, a protective metal layer having 1 to 3 nm thickness comprising a metal such as Ti, Sn, Al, Ni and Cr or alloys of these, and a second oxide layer essentially comprising zinc oxide or tin oxide and having 40 to 60 nm thickness. The obtd. heat ray shielding glass has >=65% transmittance for visible rays, <=45% transmittance for solar radiation, 565 to 575 nm main wavelength range for transmission, 470 to 485 nm main wavelength for reflection between the glass surface and the film surface, and 2.5 to 4.0Ω/unit square surface resistance.
