PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorptive honeycomb structure having high mechanical strength and free from powdering which causes pressure loss by forming a surface layer or the whole body of an adsorptive and desorptive honeycomb structure from a porous resin in which an adsorbent is dispersed. SOLUTION: At the time of producing a highly efficient adsorptive honeycomb structure to be used for water removal, deodorization, gas component separation, etc., the surface layer or the whole body of an adsorptive and desorptive honeycomb structure is made of a porous resin in which an adsorbent is dispersed. Any material can be employed as the resin material for producing the porous body without a specific limitation as long as the material can be formed into a porous film by phase separation method or sol-gel transition method and polyether sulfonic acid type resin and/or poly(vinylidene fluoride) type resin are preferable. The adsorbent to be added to the porous body is selected from materials in particle state and preferably in fine particle state having about 50μm or shorter particle diameter from a view point of dispersibility and zeolites, aluminosilicates, fraiponite, magnesium oxide, etc., are examples.
