PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spike for shoes which is formed of a spike main body provided with a pin at the lower end of a cylindrical base part and a pedestal for being embedded in a shoe bottom with a cylindrical space part in which the base part of the spike main body is detachably housed and in which the spike main body does not easily come off from the pedestal embedded in the shoe bottom during the use of the shoes and the spike main body is easily attached and detached. SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 20 is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the base part 14 of a spike main body 13. In addition, a guide groove part 24 for introducing the protrusions 20 of the spike main body 13 is formed in the circumferential walls of a space part 11 of a pedestal 2. The guide groove part 24 is constituted of a vertical groove 26 vertically extended from the entrance of the space part 11 of the pedestal 2 toward the bottom of the space part 11, an inclined groove 30 connected to the vertical groove 26 and extended toward the bottom of the space part 11 with a predetermined angleθwith respect to the radial direction of the space part 11, and an end groove 34 which is connected to the inclined groove 30 and in which a groove region is enlarged by a predetermined distance (m) to a dead end from the end of the inclined groove 30 toward the entrance of the space part 11. In addition, an energizing means 36 to energize the spike main body 13 forward is provided for a shoe bottom 12 or a spike for a shoe.
