PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device wherein a pressure of inflation of an air bag is instantaneously concentrated by a force cloth to a burst part of a trim cover, and by quickly cutting out from a local part of a seam serving as the burst part of the trim cover, even when an output pressure of an inflator is low set, the burst part of the trim cover can be quickly and surely cut and opened by a pressure of inflation of the air bag. SOLUTION: Each piece end is sewn together to a seam 2c serving as a burst part 3 of a trim cover 2, and each of the other end is locked to a seat back frame side. A force cloths 7, 8 of small elongation are extension arranged in an inflation extending region of an air bag in each inner side from the seam 2c serving as the burst part 3 over to both a front cover part 2a and a side surface cover part 2b of the trim cover 2, and in at least one side of this force cloths 7, 8, the force cloth 7 of wide area shape is provided, which sews together the end over a total length of the seam 2c required for inflation extension of the air bag. |
