PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably join a base for a buckle and a housing to each other by demarcating a passage to receive a seat belt tongue piece on the base, providing an intermediate part between a pair of opposed end parts, and forming a structure to join the housing and a base end part to each other on the basis of a movement of the base in the housing. SOLUTION: A latch moves so as to engage with or separate from a tongue piece in a passage 32 through a pair of arranged holes 78 and 80 demarcated by walls 72 and 74 of a base 30. A pair of slots 84 of the upper wall 72 receives a corresponding installing part of a latch mechanism, and a flat part 86 of a stem 20 is received between the walls 72 and 74 of the base 30, and a pair of rivets 90 fasten the stem 20 to the base 30. The base 30 has tabs to engage with a housing so as to be held in an installing position in the housing. End parts of a first tab 100 and a third tab 104 are pushed, and are reliably brought into contact with the housing, and the base 30 and the housing can be joined to each other. |
