<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which a plurality of print data corresponding to respective parts constituting an image being printed on one page are processed indepently and an image can be printed on one page using these print data. SOLUTION: Upon receiving a print data corresponding to a frame format and a print data corresponding to a text being printed over the frame format, an MPU 2 writs these print data independently into an image buffer 3. A first VIF 4-1 reads out the print data corresponding to the frame format from the image buffer 3 and delivers the print data to a selective synthesizing circuit 6. On the other hand, a second VIF 4-2 reads out the print data corresponding to the text from the image buffer 3 and delivers the print data to the selective synthesizing circuit 6. The selective synthesizing circuit 6 synthesizes the received print data to produce an integrated print data for one page. A print mechanism 7 prints an image on one sheet based on the print data synthesized by the selective synthesizing circuit 6.</p> |
