<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prevent the thermal expansion and contraction of a cover member without other members by integrally forming fixing pieces protrusively engaging with the cover member at the side of a metallic core member oppositely arranged to the cover member. SOLUTION: A handrail coping in which a metallic core member 3 is covered with a resin cover member 4 is fixed through handrail brackets to provide an indoor handrail. In this indoor handrail, fixing pieces 10, 10 extrusively engaging with the cover member 4 are integrally formed on the core member 3 by erecting these fixing pieces at the cover member 4 side of at least both ends of the side 7-9 oppositely arranged to the cover member 4. The fixing pieces 10, 10 may be formed by cutting the side 7-9 of the core member 3 to have a roughly corresponding shape to the fitting piece 10. In this way, the thermal expansion and contraction of the cover member 4 can be efficiently prevented without other members and the relative movement of the cover member 4 against the core member 3 can be also prevented.</p> |
