PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition excellent in operability, little in exhaust of a solid component in white wash, and capable of providing a high compression strength and a well finished inner surface by adding a specific amount of an alkylene oxide adduct as a clarifier of the white wash to a concrete. SOLUTION: This concrete composition contains 3-10 kg/m<3> at least one kind of a compound of the formulas R1 O(AO)a H, R2 OH and R5 -[(AO-)m H]c [R1 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; R2 is a 4-6C alkyl or a 5-6C cycloalkyl; R3 and R4 are each H or a 1-4C alkyl; R5 is a residue of a compound having (c) active hydrogens; A is a 2-3C alkylene; (a) is 1-100; (b) is 1-10; (c) is 2-8; (m) is 1-30] added thereto. A water-soluble polymer having thickening activities or a montmorillonite-based clay mineral added thereto are preferably added to the concrete composition in combination therewith.
