PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having a sufficient anti-baking property in a collar and roller end surface contact part, even when lubricating oil quantity, to be supplied to a bearing, is less or exhausted. SOLUTION: In a rolling bearing including a roller bearing having a collar part, and a roller assembled into the bearing; at least one side of the collar and roller end surfaces is to have an amorphous compound layer of a thickness of a 0.3-2.5 μm, formed of the chemically reacted metal surfaces of these members; and the compound layer is to include at least one kind element selected from periodic table fifth and sixth groups, an oxygen atom, a carbon atom, and a metal element which is a component of these members.
