PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the high quality recording even after the repeated rewriting by a method wherein a specified range of area factor of a transparent or semitransparent surface layer is formed on a heat-sensitive reversible recording film provided on at least one side of a base material and at least either the surface layer oe its non-formed part is divided into a plurality of regions. SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive reversible recording medium 1 is equipped with a heat-sensitive reversible recording film 3 formed on one side of a base material 2, a surface layer 4, which is formed on the heat-sensitive reversible recording film 3 with the area factor by the range of 20-90%, and a magnetic recording layer 5 formed on the other side of the base material 2. By dividing at least either the non-formed part of the surface layer 4 (a part A, in which the heat-sensitive reversible recording film 3 is exposed.) into a plurality of regions, the pattern emerging from the transparent or semitransparent surface layer 4 due to the difference of reflectances is recognized more clearly and surely, resulting in allowing to conceal the pattern misconceived as an afterimage. Thus, the durability in the repeated rewriting of a high quality information and the formation of images can be remarkably improved. |
