PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject jig intended to improve the dimensional accuracy of a to-be-baked material without deteriorating its characteristics, by providing a ceramic substrate surface serving as a platform for a to-be-baked material with a coating layer made of a material inert to the to-be-baked material and consisting of a porous body having specific spherical pores and by representing the surface of the porous body as a curved surface assembly defined by closed pores and open pores. SOLUTION: This jig has the following scheme: a coating layer thereon has spherical pores each 0.05-2.0 mm in diameter, the surface of the coating layer is of fine and uniform uneven structure which helps decease the contact area with a to-be-baked material and affords the support site for the to-be-baked material with multi-point function, securing a passage for the binder-decomposed gas and evaporated water vapor emitted from the to-be-baked material; the material of a substrate bearing the coating layer consists of a ceramic such as alumina or cordierite, the apparent porosity of the coating layer is pref. >=10%, the material of the coating layer is e.g. high-purity zirconia, part or the whole of the surface of this jig consisting of zirconia layer, and a foaming agent for the pores is e.g. ammonium stearate. |
