<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device by providing a new sheet guide for correcting a traveling passage for a fed sheet to direct the tip of the drawn sheet to a resist roller. SOLUTION: Sheet guides 14-1-14-8 are arranged so that the tip of a sheet is precisely direct to the nipping part between resist rollers 12-1, 12-2 by the sheet guides 14-1-14-8. However, since the size and thickness of the sheet used for printing are various, the tip of the sheet is often collided to the resist roller 12-2 at a right angle so that it can not nipped between the resist rollers 12-1, 12-2. In contrast to this, in a printer having an auxiliary guide 65 attached within a sheet carrying passage, the course of a sheet 27 is corrected by regulating the mounting angle of the auxiliary guide 65 so that the sheet 27 can be precisely nipped between the resist rollers 12-1, 12-2.</p> |
