<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblage and sealing property, and save the costs of parts, in an intake manifold for a V type two cylinder engine for supplying intake air supplied from a carburetor to each cylinder by branching intake air. SOLUTION: A carburetor holder and a manifold main body 26 provided with a pair of intake pipe parts 27, 28 branched in an inverted V-shape, are formed as an integral molding material by a rubber-like elastic body, and metallic flanges 31, 32 are inserted in the downstream end part of each intake pipe part 27, 28 by the rubber-like elastic body formed integrated with the manifold main body 26. Annular grooves 20, 21 are formed on installing surfaces 15, 16 of the cylinder heads 7, 8, and are fitted to O-rings 23, 24 having heat resistance. The joining surfaces 31a, 32a of the flanges 31, 32 are fastened by a bolt 36. The flexibility of the intake manifold main body is followed with heat deformation of a cylinder.</p> |
