PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat discoloration composition effective in a toy, decoration or temperature indicating material field by providing a reversible heat discoloring function for transferring to a color developing state by heating from a color erasing state and resetting to the erasing state by a temperature drop from the developing state. SOLUTION: The reversible heat discoloration composition comprises an electron donative colorational organic compound, an alkoxyphenol compound represented by the following general formula (1) wherein R is an alkyl group, and a compound of a reaction medium reversibly bringing about an electron donative or acceptive reaction by the organic compound and the alkoxyphenol compound in a specific temperature range. |
