PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circumferential welding method for a pipe line fixed pipe, which is high in welding efficiency and excellent in welding joint performance. SOLUTION: Welding is carried out by rotatively running a welding head in the same direction along an end part at the welding current of 150-250 A, and with a I-shaped or V-shaped groove of 0-40 degree grove angle. Welding heat input is preferred to be 15 kJ/cm or less. The welding head may be equipped with plural torches, and the metallic wire for welding is preferably 0.9-1.2 mmϕin diameter. This method can be applied to both a horizontally fixed pipe and an inclined fixed pipe.
