PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the coming off of carcass ply especially in vulcanizing molding and to enhance the durability of a bead part in a 15 deg. tapered radial ply tire embedded with a bead core having a hexagonal cross section. SOLUTION: On a first cord row A1 formed by spirally winding a single cord 2, a second cord row A2 ,..., an Nth cord row AN (N>=5) are stacked sequentially to form a hexagonal cross section, and a bead core 3 in which the ratio of the distance L between the first cord row and the Nth cord row to the distance W between cords positioned on both sides of the cord row having the most numerous cords of the first cord row to the Nth cord row, L/W is 0.55-1.00 is used, and a tapered angleαto a rim diameter line (n) of a virtual line (m) passing through the center position of each cord positioned in the first cord row A1 is larger than a tapered angleβto the rim diameter line (n) of a bead sheet 5 of the rim 4, and in addition, the angle differenceα-βis 15 deg. or less.
