PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide measurement data which makes self-awareness examination accurate when there is a doubt of weak hyperopia by outputting a recommended value for an initial value for measuring self-awareness which differs from a representative value operation means when a plurality of measurement results of a memory means include the data showing weak myopia or hyperopia. SOLUTION: A control circuit 50 stores the results obtained by a plurality of numbers of measurements in a memory 62 and then applies predetermined statistical processings to a plurality of measurement results stored therein to obtain a representative value. The control circuit 50 calculates the representative value and judges whether there is a possibility of weak hyperopia or not according to an eye examination. Then, if it judges that there is a possibility of weak hyperopia, it obtains a favorable value when used as an initial value in self- awareness examination. Then, the representative value and a recommended value obtained when it is judged that there is a possibility of weak hyperopia are printed and output from a printer 63 together with a plurality of measurement results stored in the memory 62 when a print switch in a switch part is pressed. |
