PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator controller capable of automatically moving the position of a car and preventing the mistaken running of the car during maintenance and inspection in a pit. SOLUTION: An elevator controller is provided with an inspection running start detecting means 22 for detecting a specified pit inspection mode starting operation, a pit inspection running means 25 for running a car upward by a specified distance, an inspection mode storing means 24 for storing the execution of this pit inspection running means 25 and an inspection mode priority control means 26 for preventing a transfer to normal running or maintenance and inspection running when the storage of this inspection mode storing means 24 is not released, and when maintenance and inspection work in the pit is carried out by one maintenance engineer, work such as automatic shifting of the position of the car is executed automatically by the pit inspection running means 25. Also, during period of not cancelling the memory of the inspection mode storing means 24, erroneous running of the car is prevented by using the inspection mode priority control means 26 to prevent the transfer to normal running or maintenance inspection running. |
