PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively make the single measurement of body weight or body fat or the simultaneous measurement of body fat linked with body weight measurement and to measurement the length of each part of the body. SOLUTION: This scale has a flat shape scale main body 1 having a built-in body weight measuring part for measuring body weight value and a bar-shaped adipometer 2 removably attached to the main body 1. The adipometer 2 has a casing structure wherein a display part 10 and various setting switches 11 are arranged in the center, the casing structure having a handle part 14 with pairs of electrodes 16-19 arranged on both sides, and having a distance sensor 13 provided in an appropriate position along its longitudinal direction. Inside a casing 9, a measurement means for measuring in-body impedance obtained when a subject holds the handle part 14 in both hands, an infrared ray communicating part which incorporates body weight value data measured with the main body 1, a distance measuring circuit for measuring data about the height, arm length, and leg length of the subject from the values detected by the distance sensor 13, and a CPU for computing the body fat value of the subject on the basis of the in-body impedance, the body weight value, and the height, arm length, and leg length data and for displaying the body fat value obtained on the display part are provided. |
