PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit the installation of a wearing plate or contrive to remarkably elongate the life of the wearing plate when the wearing plate is installed without marring the predetermined cutting performance with high pressure water through a simple constitutional improvement. SOLUTION: High pressure water jetting nozzles 6 and 6, which cut the widthwise end parts of a ceramic-based building material green sheet 2 by jetting high pressure water from above the carrying path of first and second belt conveyors 1 and 3 for continuously carrying the ceramic-based building material green sheet 2 along a certain path against the widthwise end parts of the ceramic-based building material green sheet 2, are provided above a stationary receiving base 4 so as to be adjustable and fixable their angles (θ) of inclination in order to keep the center line x2 of a jet after cutting normal at all times to the carrying direction (a) of the building material green sheet 2.
