PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the deterioration of polymethine-based coloring matter by regenerating light without lowering the reflectance of a recording layer by a method wherein an optical recording layer is made of a composition including the polymethine-based coloring matter and a naphthalocyanine-based coloring matter represented by the specified formulae and a photostabilizer. SOLUTION: An optical recording layer is made of a composition including a polymethine-based coloring matter represented by the formula I, in which R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or the like, a naphtalocyanine-based coloring matter represented by the formula II, in which M represents Si or Ge and R1 represents -CH3 , -C2 H5 or C3 H7 , and a photostabilizer represented by the formula III, in which R2 represents a 2-4C alkyl group, an alkoxyalkyl group or an alkenyl group and X represents an anion. The mixing ratio of components represented by the formulae I, II and III is respectively set to be 60-70 wt.%, 2-5 wt.% and 18-25 wt.%. As a result, the deterioration of the polymethine-based coloring matter by regenerating light can be improved without lowering the deflectance of the optical recording layer. |
