<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compsn. which can control the occurrence of a liquid leakage and poor levelability in use and has excellent time stability during a long term, by contg. water, a crosslinked poly (N-vinyl carboxylic amide), and water-soluble polysaccharides of a specified amt. SOLUTION: A compsn. contains water, a crosslinked poly(N-vinyl carboxylic amide), and water-soluble polysaccharides (e.g. xanthan gum) of the content (wt.ratio) of less than a quarter of the N-vinyl carboxylic amide content. The total used amts. of the crosslinked poly(N-vinyl carboxylic amide) and the water-soluble polysaccharides are pref. 0.01-15.0 wt.% on the basis of the total liquid compsn. The crosslinked poly(N-vinyl carboxylic amide) gives thixotropy to the liquid compsn. and controls the reaction with age of the water-soluble polysaccharides one another and that of the water-soluble polysaccharides with other components, supporting the maintenance of the other components in the dispersion state. The water-soluble polysaccharides make stabilization of a dispersion and dissolution of each component.</p> |
