PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus which holds charged toners in a state of a cloud to a toner hopper and restricts dust in the circumference of dot images and shape expansion of dot images in a forward direction of a recording paper even when an image formation speed is increased. SOLUTION: In an image-forming apparatus, charged toners are selectively flown through holes of a toner control member 3 to a paper transfer belt serving also as a counter electrode, and adhered to a recording paper 6 proceeding to the upstream side of the paper transfer belt in a toner fly direction, thereby forming images. The image-forming apparatus is provided with a toner hopper 45 which can hold the toners to be flown to the paper transfer belt via the holes of the toner control member 3 in a state of a cloud, a toner transfer means comprising a particle pump 64 mixing the toners with the air and transferring to the toner hopper 45 and a transfer pipe 65, and a charging device 60 charging the toners transferred to the toner hopper 45. Moisture may be applied to the charged toners transferred to the toner hopper 45. |
